Dr. Martin is a national educational consultant. He has conducted numerous professional development seminars for schools at each programmatic level and school districts on a variety of topics. Darrin provides expertise and support through direct assistance in the development and implementation of plans to improve student achievement. He also provides assistance in designing and implementing instructional leadership, improvement planning, curriculum alignment, organizational strategies, mathematics strategies and team building to create high performing schools.

Dr. Starcher-Martin has experience at the state, district and classroom levels.  At the state-level, Serena focused on educator preparation, licensure and development.  On a district-level, she has served as an associate and deputy superintendent as well as interim superintendent.  While her district-level experiences are varied, key areas of focus included the development and review of policy, preparation of school facility documents including comprehensive facility plans and school closure documents, oversight of district finance and personnel, strengthening relationships and communication with the school community, working with personnel to improve student performance, leading strategic planning, and focusing efforts to improve graduation rates and reduce dropout rates.
